Damian a.k.a DJ D Vybez (CEO) I was born in Sav-La-Mar Jamaica where Bassline Muzik Ent was formed. I fell in love with music at age 9 maybe even earlier "I think I had no choice". When I was growing up my uncle had a Sound System in the house and a wide collection of music (LPs) from Dubs, rocksteady, ska, dancehall, loversrock, soca, blues, pop, R&B, rock n roll and the list goes on. The legend Bob Marley was an Icon for him so he had every work of Bob Marley. I remember every Friday after he gets home from his hard days work as a custom officer he would have friends over and they would listen to music, have a few drinks and joke around. He would have us in the room dancing and talking over the mic (Djing).

I remember when he moved out to his house I was age 11, he left me two speaker boxes with 12"speakers and a power receiver and a tape deck. So from then on I wanted to carry the tradition on so every Saturdays after doing all the work around the house I would take the system out in the yard invite the neighbors over and we would play different tapes from bigger sounds like Stone Love, Killamajaro, Black Kat, Super D, Body Guard, Metro Media. So my brother (Fire Kid/ Poison Dart Sound) and I would start clashing (competing).

As I got older, I started taking it more serious, and making my sound much bigger, so whenever any of my friends were having a party they would ask me to DJ for them. One night I Dj my aunts Birthday party and my speakers started failing my friends was making fun saying "NO Bass Line" pure tops So from that I took the name BASSLINE MUZIK because I was determine that I would not have that incident no more. I came to the US and I said no matter what I become in Life music will always be a part of me, so I got my Associate degree in Accounting and started following my dream with the music.

I have got the opportunity to work with some of Tampa best DJs and Promoters like ,Struggla Sound, Dj Spice, Kirky C (Poison Dart), Baby Sam, K Zee, Mighty Punisha, Top Class Promotions, Sky High Ent (Shy), Super D, HTO, Crown Council Tropix night club, Café Mango, Harbor Club, Jerk Hut just to name a few.

I must say because of the kind of music I grew up around it had help me not just to play only one type of music so I have been blessed to play different types of music from Reggae,R&B,Soca,Hip-Hop,Reggaeton,kompa and more. I have been able to perform at several WEDDINGS, Quince, and Birthday Parties of different background eg. Haitian, American, Puerto Rican and the St Kitts.

Bassline Muzik always tries to make the difference in this business and to be successful in the entertainment world you have to be different with your own style and that is what we do at BASSLINE MUZIK ENT.
